Miguel Umba is an accomplish director working across film, theatre, and immersive worlds. Originally from Bogotá, he builds bold, emotionally driven stories shaped by his background as an actor and movement artist.

His directing work spans large-scale immersive productions, international touring theatre, and screen-based projects, including Rumble in the Jungle Rematch, Terminal 1 at Glastonbury, a decade of creative collaboration with Secret Cinema, and projects with Gecko Theatre, Les Enfants Terribles, Disney Imagineering, and Paramount Studios.

Miguel creates work that moves audiences, emotionally, physically, politically, and champions diverse voices through bold visual storytelling.
